Job Description
Tasks
- Develop and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases to support front-end functionality.
- Optimize and troubleshoot back-end systems for performance, security, and reliability.
- Write clean, scalable code, and create documentation to support ongoing development.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement data storage solutions to ensure high availability and consistency.
- Conduct testing and debugging to maintain and improve code quality.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in back-end development.
Skill and Experience
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or in a similar role, with a focus on server-side applications.
- Proficiency in one or more back-end languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, Node.js).
- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with database management.
- Familiarity with version control tools, especially Git.
- Understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
